i always wondered why does jeans need that type of seam?
like if u think about it every pair of jeans has that type of hem and if a pair doesnt it doesnt look like jeans..

Sorry, i am only learning to sew and have only made handbags so far, i just wanted to check that this seam is sewn on the right (outside) of the pants/skirt. Is that correct? Like you often see on jeans?
thanks.

not sure if libbymc already replied to you, but this is done on the outside (ie, the right side ) of the fabric. Always do this seam first to avoid problems …Good luck.
