FIGURE 7: MARK THE INTERVAL POINTS AND ALSO THE ANGLES.
Mark the 1” interval points as dashes, pointing towards the inside of the dart.
The points are for pins. Pin mark the other side of the fabric and trace the dart or the pleat.
For sewing, match the points with pins and then sew.
For light colored fabrics I either use a light colored gel pen or a matching fine point permanent marker.
For white fabrics, I sometimes use Method number 2.
