Draw lines connecting the marks. The first on top with the first on bottom, etc., so that they are lines parallel to the diagonal edges. One of your diagonal edges might be uneven--like there are 2 inches from the last mark to the edge on the top, and only 1 inch from the last mark to the edge on the bottom. That's not a problem, just cut that edge off along the last line to make a new edge.
