I was so glad to have figured this out because invisible zippers were one of those things I thought I just couldn't do. I made my first perfect invisible zip using this technique!! So far all the ‘helpful hints’ I have read (including the Burda magazine) were vert complicated and required a special foot – which I don’t have… I think what made a big difference is ironing the zipper so that coil is flat – what a simple and brilliant idea!! I can’t thank you enough for that! Very very helpful and makes sewing invisible zippers a stroll in the park!
