I am 5'4 so I am right between petite and regular and therefore I have to hem pretty much everything I buy. So how do I hem jeans? You will start working on them on the right side.

    Congrats on the tutorial. May I add my caveat? Always measure BOTH legs. As the ‘official’ pant shortener for a rather large family, I once neglected to measure both and cut the same amount off each leg and found to my and my grand-daughters dismay that fresh from the manufacurer the legs were 3/4 inches different in length and just my luck I had measured the short one………..
