Cut the pattern along the pleat mark lines from bottom towards the top (cut all the way through the top line of the pattern). Spread the pieces at the bottom, leaving the top line continuous. You can make the pleats as wide as you like. I made them approximately 1.5cm wide at the bottom. Using the cello tape stabilize the pattern, and fix it to another piece of paper.
