Hemming pleats can be tricky. One choice is to hem the fabric before you pleat it, but if that is not an option here are instructions for hemming after pleating. Basically, you are training the pleats to fold the opposite direction below the hem foldline.

For some reason the rating doesn’t work. I wanted to rate it 5 buttons because I felt it was well presented. People really need to learn to discern ratings fairly on the qualities of a tutorial, not rating on how hard the project is!
