Burda Style For people who sew

Altering a pattern to fit a full bust and also fit the waist on a princess seam pattern with seams through the shoulders. It's not overly difficult but can seem confusing. This is my first how to so please let me know if you have questions or something is confusing.

Technique Materials

Princess seam pattern with seams through the shoulders, pencil, ruler or straight edge and measuring tape, extra paper, measurements, French curve is helpful but not necessary.

  This is just what I was looking for, I was taking a two year Textile course last and had one year completed when I lost my 33 year old daughter. I just never had it in me to finish my course but, was trying to get back into sewing and this site will help so much. Thank you very much.

  Thank you for this how-to. I’m taking on my first full-time student who, like me, has a full bust size. I’m one of those,"I know how to do “X” but bless me if I can write it down" people.
