FRAME. The Guipure will want to shift around while you are working with it, unless you take some precautions: Adjust your sewing machine stitch length to 3 1/2. Sew theGuipure at about 1/8". Lay the fabric on the pattern, and check that the fabric is the same shape and length as the paper pattern, adjusting if necessary by pulling the bobbin thread, and tie off the threads when correct. Because of the loose stitching, it maybe be hard to tell which is the bobbin thread, so you may want to use a slightly different thread color. *Note: Here, I am just doing the neck. If you are working with the whole piece, do separate stitching for the neckline and center back so you can adjust them separately.
