plus many of the newer machines will have an “overlock” function. My new and inexpensive Singer does. I’m loving it! Of course I’d love to have the seam trimming and rolled edge functions of a serger but this will do for now….especially without the devoted space for two machines.

These are good things to remember, thanks! There’s also techniques like the french seam that can nicely finish seam, too.
