Eventually you'll reach the corner of the pattern piece. To ensure the proportions stay the same and the lines are straight, extend the lines of the 2 largest sizes (the 2 vertical green lines). Your dotted line should be parallel with these lines. Do the same for the horizontal line. The point where your dotted lines intersect is the new corner.
