Burda Style For people who sew

What I do I drapeand sew my dresses in muslinon the manequin and then I fit it and make corrections. One a I correct the pattern in muslin i transfer it to pattern paper. Regarding the manipulations of darts I play witht he darts and move then around transfering them from the waist to anywere in the body so you can make shapes and transform the design of the clothing in different ways.

  Hi guy, big admiration for using the technique of moulage for creating your dresses! A few weeks ago I tried it, too on an open day at the fashion academy. Realy great technique but also difficult I thought. Just another way of thinking to make a pattern.     Oh Thank And I hope you practice it.Well i’m seing the show for this season is on NBC on Fridays, at 8:00 pm
    is called fashion start, I will audition for the next show of next year but I don’t know yet the day. Is only to see if I clasify for the show they select 12 designers. The Other show is called Project Runway is on Thursdays at 9:00pm but you can watch the episodes onli also at mylifetime.com
