Cut the fabric in half lengthwise. Prepare trousers, interface fabric strips, and baste to the trousers (seam allowance 1 cm/ 3/8 in wide). Cut the trousers open along the side seams and trim away the seam and the seam allowances. Pin the pockets closed. Measure 2cm (3/4") in from the edge, cut fabric here, and neaten the edges.
