In this video I teach you how to make a Chef's Hat for your little cooking helper! This project is great to make for your own kids or to give as gifts. They are especially awesome because they are unisex and can be totally embellished however your child would like. The pattern used in this video tutorial is for a chef's hat that fits a child from 1- 5 yrs old. If you'd like to make a larger one just increase the length of band and the size of the poof on top. The supplies you'll need are: - one 18" x 18" piece of fabric for hat top (for the poof) - one strip of fabric measuring 7" x 22" (for the headband) - one strip of lightweight/mediumweight fusible interfacing measuring ~8" x 23" - velcro measuring 3/4" x 3-4" - some kind of circle template to round of edges - cordinating thread - sewing machine with zig zag stitch and free-arm capability -rotary cutter + mat + rulers - scissors - iron (can be purchased here: http://amzn.to/SaVx9V )
