This is an article from Burda 2005/8 describing how to alter a standard burda pattern for petite sizing (a 5'3" woman) Petite sizes are half of the standard size (eg standard 42 is a petite 21)

  thanks for the info dear.. you made me realize the patterns on the site are catered for 168cm heights and i’m more petite in size.. hehe.. for anyone who’s interested to read the entire article above, burda has it on their site too!! (yay!!)
