Hand sewing needles for hand sewing, putting on buttons, tacking down appliqués, embroidery, beading and minor repairs. On the left is a needle threader, handy if you have a hard time getting the thread through the eye of the needle. On the right is a thimble: if you are handsewing something heavy, like denim or leather, a thimble is handy for pushing the thread through the material.
