Lining s Sleeveless Dress - the Classic Method. I have just finished a second series of Make a Dress using my Pinafore Pattern which is free here on Burdastyle (LOOK AT MY PROFILE - PATTERNS - FOR UPDATED VERSION - IT'S NOT SHOWING UP ON THE ORIGINAL PROJECT FOR SOME REASON) and also more sizes on my site angelakane.com. This time though I have added a lining. There are many clever techniques for doing this, some involving pulling the dress and lining through at the shoulder and other tricky ways in order to get all seams stitched by machine. This is how I first learnt, many years ago from Vogue patterns. It's the easiest to understand, works for all sleeveless dresses, however narrow the shoulder seam and always produces good results. It is the couture method, involving a little hand stitching and what's wrong with that!

I know my videos are a bit long winded but when the plan is to show every step, you can’t miss things out.
I do get a lot of encouragement from novice sewers.
Thanks so much for commenting.

Thank you so much. Actually all my sales are still digital. It’s more of a studio with a shop front but I open my doors and people come in and talk sewing.
