This dress is made from an un-printed Simplicity #1526 (year 1945) with some soft but crisp cotton shirting fabric. It is a baby blue color with white thin double pinstripes. My inspiration was to make a dress close to one from the television series “Agent Carter”. I had fun making all the fine details to this dress – gathered dart seams on the chest, bound “windowpane” button holes, front skirt box pleats, pointed cuffs, and the chevroned stripes at the shoulder yoke.
