i made a new coat, finally
thanks to my dear friend tea
(read more about that on my blog mokosha)
used burda magazine pattern (08/2012, mod 101)
and 2.2m of b&w wool houndstooth boucle fabric that i had in my stash for years
i made size 38, but added really small seam allowances
in order to make a coat slightly smaller than size 38
it’s a great pattern, and quite easy to execute
and i did not make any changes to the original pattern
i planned to use thermal quilted lining
and even had it all cut and prepared for sewing
but at the last monent i realized it’s way too thick
and switched to regular satin lining instead
pants are another version of my favorite pattern (burda 07/2011, #102)
and shirt is also made from burda pattern (05/2012, #104), i’ve posted it on this forum before
