I made this dress and a matching tie for dear husband to wear in my dear niece wedding in London few weeks ago.
The dress is so special asymmetrical neckline, princess seam, midi length and fully lining. Finished with a big bow for the accessory.
Fabric I used, 3 yards of printed cotton linen and silk satin for the lining.
Dress pattern based on two Burdastyle patterns, pattern 10/2015#124 for the bodice and pattern 08/2012#112 for the skirt. I was planning to make a godet pencil skirt as the original pattern but I changed to a pencil skirt with back slit.

Sewing process started with a muslin and fitting. Also involved a lot of basting and hand sewing.
The tie pattern based on husband old tie, I wrote all the details of the two projects on my blog.
