This is a little romper I made for my daughter Lelli. Its simplicity pattern 4054 and it’s the second time I’ve made it as I made one for my son last year. It’s a lovely simply pattern, only takes an hour or two start to finish and is perfect for babies at the crawling stage as it’s so comfy to move in. I didn’t add any trimmings on these as I felt that the fabric was quite busy and didn’t need any embellishment. My favorite part are the covered buttons – makes them stand out from shop bought clothes. It’s lined with an old cotton sheet (or rather a bit of an old cotton sheet!) Only the bodice is lined.
