Strapless Jumpsuit – Burdastyle 04/2012 #110A
I found a remnant pile of this stretch lace in a thrift store for a few bux, and I had enough to make a slightly sheer version of the long strapless jumpsuit. The lace has medium stretch but it had enough stability to sew with as it didn’t get wavy edges, yet it was also difficult to sew tidy stitches without the use of a proper stretch stitch or over-locker. If wearing it to the beach, any messy stitches won’t be too conspicuous, I don’t think. Someone told me it has a Florida retirement village feel, and I said I agree I’m sure it will be awesome in one lol. I traced this pattern 4 years ago only in this size, which is slightly roomy for the stretch lace I’m thinking, but nevermind. I omitted the pockets as I ran out of material.
