Strapless Jumpsuit – Burdastyle 4/2012 #109B

Here’s another pattern I traced a few years ago, and which I only just stitched up, the short romper version of the strapless jumpsuit. It was fairly straightforward to sew, except I added lace/eyelet edging to the top edge, waist, and leg hems. I also raised the leg hems up with fold over cuffs to make them slightly shorter. I ended up making the top edge a little wavy and messy so I stitched some white cotton tape neatly around the inside edge to neaten it. Great for a spa day at home lol, get out your manicure set, although I’ve seen young women wearing them out to the beach and so on… Oh I almost forgot: I omitted the pockets. Simply as I never had enough of the cotton remnant left, so its not exactly the most useful romper lolz! Location: St Mary’s Bay
