My jacket is made from a crinkled rayon metallic satin, with the dull crepe side out for the collar facing. I graded the pattern down (as the sizing is for tall) to my proportions by taking out two inches, in two different horizontal pleats at the bust and waist in the pattern. This pattern was really pretty easy – I made it in about 4 hours. There are hook-and-eyes to close the waist instead of snaps, in order to take advantage the the pull from the elastic. This jacket reminds me of something from the era of the 1950’s with it’s kimono sleeves…very comfy! Please check my blog soon for an upcoming post on this project: https://seamracer.wordpress.com/
