I used some particualrly unique leopard broacde to make one of my all time favourite patterns, the skirt from Vogue 1247. I love the accuracy required to make this successfully and all the seams being bound inside is particularly beautiful! The brocade is quite loosely woven which gives it a thickness and lovely spongy texture and the black of the leopard spots is actually a chenille which makes this really special. A really enjoyable project and more details on it can be found on my blog here https://chainstitcher.blogspot.co.uk/2017/01/leopard-brocade-v1247-skirt.html
