A while back I was at an antique store and picked up this amazing vintage floral cotton. It was only eight dollars and there was a lot of it, which was good because I wanted to make a dress with it. It turns out, that a lot was 10 yards! I was able to make my dress, but I wound up with about five yards left still, so I made a skirt for my sister as a Christmas gift from part of the remains. (I’m intending to make myself a skirt with the remains of the remains). It’s just a simple self-drafted circle skirt with an invisible zipper. The construction went fairly smoothly with just moderate fitting changes, which was a first for me!
