Contrast V Neck Top – Burdastyle 07/2014 #114
I have to point out lol that there is much wrong I did with this tee (not including my perusing terrific vintage seventies fabric scraps). I forgot that not all stretch knits are made the same, and not concentrating, I made the big boo boo of cutting my pattern out with the stretch going vertically. Instead of the stretch going across the body lol, so it may hang weirdly on the frame. I also forgot to cut the back out in to two separate pieces down the center back. Furthermore I also made the mistake of not following the instructions for the neck line, instead just plonking the V-neck facing on top of the neckline, with visible top-stitching. Rather than setting them in neatly with nice clean seam lines, such as I did with the raglan/cap sleeves. Never mind I’ll wear it lol, its still comfy, and I’ll just tell people I intended to make exposed seams for a distressed look lolz.
