This was made using McCall’s new “Archive Collection” pattern #7250, circa year 1927, and some ruby red velvet in a burnout floral design. The double cuffs are the highlight of the blouse, but my beaded ribbon belt (which I made as well) adds some extra elegance. It was super easy and fun to sew together, and is so comfy to wear. I love how the style is not blatantly 1920’s, yet still accurate. I’m sporting my old 1920’s hair comb to match and give the outfit a little ‘tango’ flair.
