After designing a series of woodland animals for my wedding I thought they were too cute to pass up developing the idea further. Originally each animal represented a ‘table number’ at our wedding. After revising some of their designs and colors I started experimenting with animal pairings. What better than that of competitive duos from our fables and expressions?
- Fox and Hound
- Cat and Mouse
- Tortoise and Hare
- Bird and Worm

With the custom fabric ordered I tested various bag sizes before finally drafting a tall tote bag with a mini interior pocket for a wallet. It took a few tries in muslin before I settled on the proper strap length and method for finishing the interior seams but I’m excited about the results and have already distributed a few to friends.
