I made this jacket from boiled wool using a Burda Style pattern.

This is an almost perfect Spring & Autumn jacket: it’s made of natural fabric (woll), it has buttons made of coconut, it is light and warm and it has some of Autumn’s and Spring’s colours on it.

I doesn’t have pockets.

Construction

The modifications on the Burda pattern were minor: I cut size 40 and next time I’ll cut 38. The jacket is not lined, because I wanted it to be light. I eliminated the pockets, because it has no lining.
Anyhow, in late autumn arm or wrist warmers are needed, and in winter gloves or mittens.

I love the jacket, because I like wool and I love these colours!

What I will do next time:
- I will make a size smaller, because I like fitted garments
- If I will add lining, I will also add pockets.
