Following on from some success with a linen ensemble for Barbie, this dress was made using a few more lovely scraps – some Liberty Tana Lawn for the bodice of the dress, and some heavy grey linen for the skirt of the dress. I used my vintage Barbie “trousseau” pattern – a fabulous pattern with several cute vintage (and non-trashy) outfits on it. My daughter doesn’t mind this dress but doesn’t love it – she thinks I should be making a big meringue-style wedding dress for Barbie next.
