I had this beautiful silk chiffon with sort of a brush stroke print pattern to it and thought it would be perfect for this loose-fitting cold shoulder top.
I used Butterick 6457 pattern, view A, to make this top. I used a tan colored silk chiffon that I had in my stash to make a lining for the front and back parts of the top so that it is not quite as sheer, and left the sleeves with just the one layer. And of course, I used French seams throughout the top (side seams, sleeve seams) as the fabric is so sheer and French seams are my favorite!
This was a relatively easy make, but the V-neck band was the most difficult part to pin, sew and then hand stitch to the inside.
