I absolutely loved the look of the hood on this pattern and so went ahead and made it. Strangely (in my opinion) the pattern is not meant to be reversible, even though there’s nothing stopping you making it so. (Perhaps if it is following a costume for Dr Who or whatever they wouldn’t need to reverse it). Anyway, I followed all the instructions but basically made up the full pattern in both fabrics and then joined them together (I joined the hoods together and the back neck seam together to try t prevent the different layers moving). I then used bias binding to cover the raw edges (though I suppose I could have sewed the edges with right sides together and turned inside out). I did the binding by hand so I could control it more (and my binding was quite thin so not much room for error)
