Yet another hippo garment for the little hippo fanatic!

I ordered this fabric in yellow and pink a while ago, when she was much littler, and when half a yard would have sufficed for a garment. Unfortunately I have been too lazy to sew it up! With the sad result that despite desperately piece-ing the yellow fabric, I still had to ‘patch up’ with pink on the cuffs.

The trouser pattern is from Dana at Made, using the Flat Front variation, and was very easy to make. I put a patch pocket on the front, because she likes to peep at her pocket-treasure every so often, and how is she going to monitor the state of the treasure when it’s located over her bum?
