One of those things I’ve been sewing for others the last few months. This one was a request for my little sister based on my own jumpsuit but less beach vacation-like and more everyday-like. This meant less flamboyant fabric, longer legs and some short sleeves.

Since the pattern is in petite sizes, I adjusted it to make it regular. Other than that the variations from the original are very few, basically just adding the short sleeves and cutting out the inner waistband in a non-stretchy woven lining fabric to keep the waist at the waist.

I love how this turned out, I would’ve happily worn it myself. And I think the fabric is really cool. I like the embroidery effect of this print.

Photos of the happy sister modelling it are taken in picturesque Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia.

Read more about the making on my blog here, you are also more than welcome to click yourself around if you’re interested in seeing the rest of the Sewing for others collection and the making of them, or to check out anything else I have there :)
