After a recent renovation of the living room, we finally got to the finishing touches and the decoration part. So, for the windows I decided to try something different and it seemed to work great for our interior. Instead of buying expensive curtains, I made my own drapes using canvas cloth from the local home improvement store. No sewing involved, just follow the easy 3-step instructions.

On a side note: be sure to first run the fabric through the washing machine with a lot of softener because any dropcloth is usually very stiff. You might need do that twice and also iron after. Here is the right moment to say thank you to the cleaners at Paul’s Window Cleaning Sydney who pointed me to the idea of no-sew curtains after seeing the unfinished room.
