I am a big fan of bows and loved this blouse the moment I saw it in the magazine (#110 Burda Style 3/2016). My travel destinations inspire me a lot and looking forward to my trip to French Atlantic coast in Britany for a long weekend, I decided to give this pattern a try.

Fine cotton shirting with tiniest stripes in blue, red, and white seemed to be a perfect match for this model. The shirt is quite loose and is easy to make as it does not need much fitting or adjusting. Its double back yoke topstitched along the seams gives some volume to shoulders. That creates this contemporary slightly oversized and relaxed fit.

The only detail that might require some patience and experience is a concealed button front. My only change to the original model was that instead of elastic bands on the bottoms of the ¾ sleeves, I made narrow cuffs as in the model of a dress based on the same pattern.
