Layered Tank – Burdastyle 5/2014 #128
I used a small piece of liquid thin chiffony-synthetic blend material with dots on it, which I found in the craft store remnants bin, as the outer layer for this tank. For the under layer I used black lining, so the lining is quite visible, and may hang strangely in places and crease; I’m not actually sure if anyone makes clothes using visible lining lol. Never mind, that’s all I had in my stash and they match. I accidentally cut the outer dotty fabric with a thin hem only, and I also raised it a few inches higher (than the hem of the original pattern), as I’d traced it wrong, lol. Once I cut it I couldn’t make it bigger, sigh. In the end though this pattern was quite fun to sew and didn’t take that long. Location: Mangere Bridge.
