One Shoulder Dress – BurdaStyle 07/2011 #106
This was made in about half an hour, sewn out of a rectangular pashmina made of sari style polyester fabric with mini mirrors on its borders, which my auntie gave me brand new. It was easy because the pashmina was exactly the same size as the specified amount of fabric required lol, no wastage except for a small triangle cut out. All I had to do was basically fold the pashmina in half and stitch up a few sides, and all the edges are finished nicely already. I didn’t line it so that made it even quicker, and its very sheer and flowy but can be worn over any tops and pants, or as a beach caftan as I’ve done here.
