Cotton oversized tunic
Followed pattern with a change: pattern calls for top stitching the neck line and it stood out in too much contrast to the fabric plus the seam allowance could be seen along the neck line when wearing so I took more of the linen binding and bound the neck seam allowance and tacked it at the shoulder seams to keep in place – therefore no need for the top stitch. cleaner look too. I wonder if the same contrast band detail could have been added to neck line as with sleeve and bottom?
Warning – don’t forget to add the seam allowance to the pieces you must self draft!! Also – Sleeve pattern pieces have 2 lengths – be sure to cut shorter for this pattern #124 and not at the 123 longer length or you will have to rip out like I did ! darn it!
