I combined two tees in the style of Alabama Chanin. This means a lot of reverse applique and hand stitching to enhance the shapes. The main sewing was done by machine, decorative stitching was done by hand.
I have loaded up a lot of photos that I took throughout the project. They may help you understand the technique. There’s a photo of my loose sketch on the top layer (the painted shapes were sewn wider than the sketch, and the sketched part was cut off), and there’s a photo of the reverse insides, also of the back of the garment, which was left plain.
