A jumpsuit is an entire outfit-in-one and is full of room for one’s own interpretation. We created our own variation of a burda style magazine jumpsuit pattern and altered it to our liking by eliminating the cuffs and gathers at the ankle and widened the legs for a more free-spirited look.

This design calls for a 2-way stretch fabric so we went with a comparable peach hued silk knit. There are no closures to insert but a tie at the waist, so slipping into this outfit is as easy as pie. Which look do you prefer, cinched and gathered at the ankle or a flowing bell bottom?
