Yep, I’m still on my bag making period. This time it’s bike panniers.
It took about two months preparation – brainstorming, thinking of dimensions, pattern drawing, material hunting, etc, and only two days of sewing. I nearly killed my singer, as it’s not meant for sewing several layers of material this heavy.
I had some failures on the go, but the panniers are usable, and I hope sturdy enough for my upcoming three weeks ride.
Cordura, lighter poly for pockets and closure, webbing, reflective tape, Nylon thread, zippers, buckles, plastic sheets for back, hooks, screws, elatics.
