I was inspired by NIADA doll artists whose work I had seen in books and one artist, Gail Lackey, I had met in person when I was in jr. high. The Nightmare Before Christmas came out about the time I started making dolls too and that was also a huge inspiration. I just started doing it, no one tried to stop me, and I haven’t stopped.

Life sized ones are a bit more involved and costly than dolls but I have done some costuming and wigging before where I have tried for a doll look on a human scale – will find and upload pictures some time.
