Zoe Loves Marc Dress

Added Feb 20, 2009

by elainemay

Aachen, Germany

I created the pattern for this super easy dress while taking a break from drafting the multi-size Coffee Date Dress pattern. I was inspired by the Bramble dress from Marc by Marc Jacobs. I just wish I had the long legs of a runway model to really show it off! I used the BurdaStyle Zoe dress as the basis. This dress is even easier and quicker to make than the Zoe— I’ll try to get around to posting a pattern in the not-too-distant future :)

Material Notes

midweight grey herringbone rayon from my stash, 22" zipper

Dan for photos, Marc Jacobs for inspiration

I love it – I think everyone would love see a pattern from you! I’ve got some fabric which is a organic-kind-a-linen and wanted to make something like this out of it and yet again you have inspired me :)) Love your work!
