This is the first skirt I’ve made. I did pretty good considering I had to figure out how to get around how disproportionate I am, lol. I used the Built by Wendy basic skirt pattern, but replaced the darts with seams. I didn’t cut the the front on the fold (for the zipper). I was scared of putting a zipper in anything, but it wasn’t so bad.

thank you. it does have a similar look to your ‘ruby’ ,and i’m impressed you did so much with it because i was going to use that wenlan pattern and i just couldn’t figure out what to do with it. :)
