Purple zipped skirt made out of some thick purple jersey (fabric featured in the background of another project ;) )
I seriously think I’m obsessed with purple right now! No worries, my next project is a different colour ;)
I followed the instructions on Weekend Designer for the Rocker Chic skirt – it’s not perfect but it’s good enough for me! I must have messed up the measurements somewhere because it was faaaaar too big when I first had it all basted together, had to eyeball the size a lot. Also my lack of a serger was a bit annoying, but I made do with what I had.
Fairly thick jersey fabric plus a navy zipper

awesome, you just inspired me!!! the zipper in front as long as it can get… perfect. an elderly sewing teacher just gave me a bunch of her equipment for our local sewing class… lots of heavy duty zippers in the stack. i think i’ll try to make a skirt like that! or try it.. hehe….
beautiful taste you got!
