This is a dress that was mostly meant as a layer to go under other pieces namely skirts. But I just wore it with leggings all summer. I made the pattern and just figured it out along the way.
Suspenders at the top (it was meant to be strapless but that didn’t work out), the red outer shell is a shiny cotton I got from an estate sale… then there is red lining. I don’t know how I aquired it and I am assuming it is cotton… Then there is a silk trim around the bottom in black and butterscotch stripes.
