This is the second dress I have ever made. (The first being the Azeala which made me look like a pregnant whale and got turned into scraps.) I liked the style, but needed to add the belt. And the dress is actually much more flattering in real life than what the pictures show. I love this dress and get loads of compliments all the time! I did have a bit of trouble with the bodice though, and as you can see, the neckline is a lot higher than it should be. (My neckline should look like the neckline on the model on the pattern envelope.) I still love it though, and I want to try it out again, using different options, but I haven’t found the “right” fabric yet! (:
Cotton blends, I think.
McCall’s for the pattern, me for sewing.
My mom, for buying the fabric!
