Zapp Brannigan costume sewn for a colleague for our work Christmas party.
We made a practice tunic to make the pattern from a really cheap WWF bedspread from KMart and used that as the pattern for the real thing.
The basic shape of the tunic was made from two of the back of Simplicity pattern 5098 and then altered on him, with the sleeves from McCall’s pattern M5395.
Sewn 11-12th December 2008
Red Velour / Velvet Yellow Lycra Shoulder pads (I think)

This is an AMAZING job on the costume! Would you be willing to sell it?
